LESSONS

I currently offer both piano and singing lessons, both online and in person, in Bristol and the surrounding areas. I take a modern approach to teaching, focusing on the music the student loves and integrating it into our lessons as much as possible, while ensuring we also cover the fundamental aspects of learning their instrument and music theory. I have successfully prepared students to take grades with ABRSM, Trinity, LCM, and MTB. Additionally, I incorporate composition exercises into our lessons to nurture their creativity. If performing is of interest to my students, I encourage them to showcase their talents and organize yearly recitals for them to participate in. Here are the current prices for lessons:

  • Individual 30 - minute piano/singing lesson: £18

  • Individual 1 - hour piano/singing lesson: £36

Please note that small group lessons are available only to schools:

  • Small group (3 - 4 students) 30 - minute piano/singing lesson: £6 per student (£66 for 11 lessons per double term)

ABOUT ME

Born and raised in North Wales, my childhood was immersed in music. At the age of 5, I embarked on piano lessons, followed by singing lessons a few years later, igniting my deep passion for music. While I received classical training and progressed through the ABRSM grades, I always had a passion for a wide variety of genres including Musical Theatre, Pop & R&B. Fueling my enthusiasm, I pursued a Masters in Music at university, where I achieved distinction from Bath Spa University.

During my journey, I had the privilege of collaborating with exceptional musicians, including acclaimed Grammy award-winning producers MNEK and Ryan Ashley. Additionally, I had the opportunity to showcase my talents as an emerging artist with Capital Radio. Currently, I am a proud member of Sonder, a Bristol-based Gospel choir.

However, it was through my part-time teaching endeavours that I discovered my love for sharing music with students. Witnessing the transformative power of music education, I found immense joy in guiding and inspiring others on their own musical paths.

These diverse experiences have shaped me into a passionate and dedicated teacher. I am excited to continue nurturing the musical talents of my students and spreading the power of music!
